I`ve spent some time now going through my old vinyl collection which I have to say since getting my new deck I am amazed why we thought CDs were better there is a warm depth of sound to vinyl dare a say better than CDs and the covers are so much more tactile, it also makes you listen to all the tracks as you cannot just press button to skip tracks.
I digress one EP thats extended play !! I found was this 4 track gem of live EP which the white sticker says, should expect to pay £1.05 in 1981. It’s full of energy the Rhythm Drum & Bass are the real drivers with energetic Guitar work and great Vocals.
Echo and the Bunnymen ‘Shine So Hard’ was originally released on 10 April 1981 and contained four live tracks
- Crocodiles
- Zimbo
- All That Jazz
- Over The Wall
Recorded at Pavilion Gardens, Buxton by The Manor Mobile on 17th January 1981, a now-legendary event.
