Mother Nature’s Kitchen is the debut album from the Scottish singer/song writer Kevin McDermott with his band Kevin McDermott Orchestra. Formed in Maryhill Glasgow. The album was named by The Sun newspaper as being number 37 in the list of “The best Scottish albums..ever”.

,has released eight albums over the past thirty years most under Kevin McDermott. Born 10 February 1962. He is described as being ‘melodically joyous and lyrically delicious.’while his songs were described as ‘Teenage Fanclub melody with Radiohead tension’. His critically acclaimed first album was released in 1986 and called ‘Suffocation Blues’.Mother Nature’s Kitchen was released in 1989.
He has collaborated with Del Amitri’s Justin Currie.
Kevin is known for performing intimate gigs in unusual venues and reaching out to his fans travelling to and performed in fans’ living rooms and pubs in a bid to raise more than £1000 for charity.
I have seen him on three occasions twice in london at the Borderline Venue & once in a Pub in Berwick upon tweed having worked a weekend away with the wife in include the gig and its where I managed to have a lengthy in the afternoon prior to sound check and later that evening. currently having little light banter of Facebook.
